Hello, fellows of Newgrounds! Since I’m going to be taking a break a bit from posting artworks from this site. I’m going to be working on a graphic novel series called, “The Hackles”. The demographic it’s going to be is the same as Goosebumps and Harry Potter. I will show you some draft that I’ve worked on so far.

Although, I don’t know when it’s going to be published or released just yet.

I really like this concept. I grew up reading Goosebumps books back when I was in elementary/middle school and I really like this spin on the kid-friendly spooky stories. Very cartoony looking but definitely still capable of being spooky and unnerving. I look forward to this, it's very creative!

Why thank you! My original creations where inspired by people’s countless of their childhood memories no matter what generation they’re in. I manage to make this Goosebumps-inspired book to look spooky with cartoony anthropomorphic animal characters. Which it comes off as kind of unique. There’s scary literature like this that doesn’t have anthropomorphic characters in it. But, I somehow created things like no one else has seen before.

Although, Me too! I grew up with Goosebumps books when I was at elementary/middle school too! I also read American Chillers and Michigan Chillers when I was at middle school. Have you ever heard of American/Michigan Chillers? These are underrated Goosebumps-inspired books.

@Crazyimp No I haven't heard of American Chillers or Michigan Chillers. I just looked it up and I can definitely see that it's very much inspired by Goosebumps. I'll have to look into it, it looks pretty interesting and I'd love to read some Goosebumps inspired stuff

@SoloSwing64 Have you watched the Goosebumps TV series that’s made in the 90s? My favorite episode was One Day At Horrorland part one and two. If you have watched it? What was your favorite episode?

@SoloSwing64 Did you know that there is some Goosebumps inspired shows such as Are You Afraid of The Dark from Nickelodeon? There’s also other works that R.L Stine did such as The Haunting Hour and Just Beyond. Have you seen these shows?

@Crazyimp Yeah I've heard of and seen a little bit of Are You Afraid Of The Dark and a bit of the old Goosebumps TV show, but I've only seen those episodes from JonTron's old Halloween specials when he reviewed them a few years ago. I actually didn't know R.L. Stine made other TV shows, I'll have to look into that later. As for my favorite Goosebumps and Are You Afraid Of The Dark episodes, I'd have to say My Harriest Adventure and The Tale of The Dark Music. Mainly because those are the only two I'm really familiar with and how cheesy they are

I know! I like how The Goosebumps tv series was wonderfully campy.
