Yesterday, I watched this movie. What I like about this movie is that it’s funny, cute and sometimes emotional with some edge of the seat action scenes. The jokes are actually self-deprecating and self-aware about it’s dysfunctional family cliches. The characters themselves are likable but believable and they smartly addressed their flaws they had which makes them unique. The art style is cartoony but smooth. The animation combines 3D with some 2D animations just like what Sony did in Spider-Man: Enter The Spider-Verse. However, I appreciate how Sony Animation was improving to make better animations than before. The voices I recognized is Alex Hircsh the creator behind Gravity Falls who voiced a young boy who’s obsessed with dinosaurs. The soundtrack it plays was Live Your Life by T.I featuring Rihanna. I found this to be a really good song. Because it was catchy and it had an awesome message about freedom and being free from politics and war. Moving on! I would rate The Mitchell’s vs The Machines as GOOD.
